It is very sad when you see or hear of extreme talent and potential being abused in any way. In a world where there is so much tension and negative events, the one thing that feeds our soul and our minds and hearts. The one singular thing that unites us all is...music.
Amy Winehouse gave us alot in her short time on Earth.27 years old and only 2 incredible album/cd releases that truly were and are fantastic. Every song,every note. Bluesy,jazzy,contemporary and pure soul. Geez a small,tiny,skinny,drug addicted young girl with a voice and a style that was really special. May she finally eliminate all her demons and finally find the so deserved peace. Her downfall..her ex husband Blake. Had Blake not entered,exited and reentered Amy's life, I believe she would have given us an American tour and her 3rd release which was in the planning finally. God bless the family in this hard time. Meanwhile, head to your cd players and play Amy Winehouse at full volume. Listen to that great sound and move it move it move it. Peace
